USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…With the season of remakes and sequels trending in Bollywood, the next film to get a sequel is the romantic drama Dhadkan. Though rumours of a sequel being planned, is doing the rounds for quite some time now, it is now that producer Ratan Jain has finally given a green signal.
Excited about the second installment for Dhadkan, producer Ratan Jain revealed that he has roped in popular director Vikram Bhatt to helm the sequel. However, Ratan further added that they are currently in the initial stages and are working on the script but he also mentioned that the shooting will commence from March 2015. While it is still being decided if the film will be a love triangle like its prequel, the star cast too is yet to be finalized and they are still contemplating on whether they will have A-listers or newcomers.
Dhadkan was directed by Dharmesh Darshan and had Shilpa Shetty, Akshay Kumar and Suneil Shetty in the lead.
