USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Earlier we had reported about Kalki Koechlin and Gulshan Devaiah playing prominent roles in the Soni Razdan directorial Love Affair. Now, it seems that the latest entrant in the star cast is Arjun Rampal.
However, this fact doesn't come as a surprise since his name has been linked to the film for the past few months. However, it is only now that producer Pooja Bhatt finally decided to reveal the entire star cast of the film. She stated that the film is about infidelity in marriage and Arjun Rampal will play the role of the husband, Kalki will be seen as the wife and Gulshan will play the character of the lover.
Though Pooja Bhatt has time and again maintained that the film is not based on the first crime of passion committed by naval officer K M Nanavati, a lot of it including the plot of infidelity bears resemblance to this real life case of 1959. The case revolved around Sylvia Nanavati who had confessed her affair with her husband's best friend Prem Ahuja to her husband K M Nanavati, after which Nanavati in a fit of anger killed Prem.
Love Affair also stars Chandan Roy Sanyal in the role of lawyer Ram Jethmalani who was the Special Prosecutor in this case.
