USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Actress Sameera Reddy who married entrepreneur Akshai Varde in January 2014 was blessed with a baby boy on May 24 (and not May 25, as reported in the press).
Sameera who is still recuperating in a hospital in Mumbai says she is feeling on top of the world. "My husband Akshai and I are blessed with the most beautiful precious little angel. We are thrilled with the new and most adorable addition to our family." Several names for their first born is being considered.
Says Sameera, "We've yet to decide on a name for him. Motherhood is one of the most selfless experiences a woman goes through. It is very humbling."
Talking about her husband, Sameera says, "We both share a passion for mo'bikes. Akshai has his own range of mo'bikes. That's how we met. I love mo'bikes and riding them is my passion. Akshai saw me whizzing past on this really mean macho machine. I think he was impressed by my love for mo'bikes. Our relationship started there. We've known one another for years before we married. Akshai is well-known in his own field but not part of showbiz. I think that was very important for me. I wanted to marry outside the film industry."
As for returning to acting Sameera says, "Right now my full focus is on motherhood. But never say never again to anything."
