USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Earlier this week noodle food Maggie Noodles came under the scanner after samples collected by Uttar Pradesh Food Safety and Drug Administration were reported to contain Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG) and Lead more than the permissible limits. Now we hear that the Haridwar Food and Drug Administration has issued a notice to Madhuri Dixit for endorsing the product.

As per the notice issued the FDA seeks a report from the actress on claims made in the advertisement regarding the nutrition value of the '2-minute noodles'. Though this may sound relatively feeble, it is also learnt that if Dixit fails to respond to the dais notice within the allotted time frame of 15 days, or is unable to provide an explanation on the nutritious claims made by the advertisements, a case could be registered against her.

Apart from this the Haridwar branch of the FDA has also sent a notice to the noodle manufacturer Nestle to look into the quality of its products.
