The latest to be mired in a similar rut is the much talked about and highly anticipated Salman Khan film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In fact we hear that a group of right-wing Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal protested against Salman Khan's upcoming Eid release.

Raising slogans, the group demanded that the Salman Khan film's title be changed as it hurts Hindu sentiments. If that wasn't enough, the groups have also threatened to launch a massive protest and stop the screening of the film unless the movie's title is changed.

Interestingly, while the makers of the film hosted an event yesterday evening releasing yet another track from the movie, the protests by the political groups comes after a PIL had been filed by a local from UP that demands 'Bhaijaan' be removed from the title as well as the deletion of objectionable scenes.

As for the film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan that is produced by Salman Khan in association with Eros International and is directed by Kabir Khan also features Kareena Kapoor alongside Salman Khan. Slated for release this Eid on July 15, the film will see the actor playing a Bajrang Bali devotee who takes on the task of returning a little girl to her family in Pakistan.
