USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After back-to-back successes, Aanand L. Rai is all set for his production debut. Titled Happy Bhaag Jayegi, we had earlier reported that the film stars Diana Penty as the leading lady, while Abhay Deol plays the male lead. Now we hear that Ali Fazal too will be a part of the film.
However, Aanand L. Rai refused to divulge any details about the characters in his romantic comedy. Happy Bhaag Jayegi is a cross border love story based in Amritsar and Lahore. In fact, Aanand has even expressed his wish to shoot the film in real locations in Pakistan and they have even applied for the permission. The filmmaker is positive about the permissions, since the film doesn't deal with any political topics.
Happy Bhaag Jayegi marks the debut of Aanand L. Rai as a producer and is directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film is slated to go on floor by the end of August or the first week of September.
