USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After many speculations about Ketan Mehta's upcoming historical drama Rani Laxmi Bai being shelved, Kangna Ranaut finally decided to break the silence about the status of the film.

Kangna is currently in London attending the prestigious Women in the World summit. Recently, she also attended the Paris Fashion Week wherein her team was shocked to hear the baseless rumours revolving around Rani Laxmi Bai. Setting the record straight, Kangna Ranaut said, "We were in Paris on our way to London when we got the news and we immediately called Ketan Sir as we got worried about the project. This is a magnum opus and it needs at least one year of pre-production which has started in full swing. We all have invested way too much in the film. Naturally, we panicked but in the past, too, we have been a victim of such fabricated stories which were spread to harm our projects."

On the other hand, Ketan Mehta, the director of Rani Laxmi Bai says, "I want to laugh about these rumours floating in the industry. The film is very much happening as per schedule."

Hopefully this clarification will put rest to all the gossips and murmurs surrounding the film.
