The Brother's of the brave Indian girl Neerja Bhanot unveiled the trailer of the film which is based on the story of their sister titled 'Neerja'.

Neerja is an upcoming 2016 Indian biographical film directed by Ram Madhvani starring Sonam Kapoor in lead titular role.

Neerja Bhanot was a flight attendant for Pan Am, based in Mumbai, India, who was murdered while saving 359 passengers from terrorists on board the hijacked Pan Am Flight 73 on 5 September 1986. Posthumously, she became the youngest recipient of India's highest peacetime military award for bravery, the Ashok Chakra.

The trailer launch event commenced with the makers sharing a video recorded by Neerja's mother who passed away a few days ago.
 
The video was addressed by Late Mrs. Rama Bhanot whereby she blessed the Neerja Team and wished them luck to convey the story of her daughter.
 
Sonam Kapoor, who will be essaying the heroic character of Neerja, broke down when Akhil Bhanot shared the experince of their family meeting Sonam Kapoor and instantly Neerja's mother- Rama Bhanot referring to her as Laadho.

The sadly thrilling trailer compiles the heroic story of the brave girl in a heart touching manner.

 
As soon as the trailer was launched it began garnering accolades from audiences present at the event, with a few breaking down on witnessing a glimpse of the fateful incident.
 
The intense trailer also took the virtual world by storm as it began trending as soon as it was launched and appreciation started pouring in for the team.
 
Presented by Fox Star Studios, Co-produced by Bling Unplugged and Directed by Ram Madhvani, Neerja is all set to release on 19th February, 2016
