USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Farhan Akhtar's special status as a star-singer seems to have rubbed off on his co-stars. He first got Priyanka Chopra to croon with him in his home production Dil Dhadkane Do. Now he's got Shraddha Kapoor to croon a duet with him for another home production Rock On 2.
Of course both the actresses are into singing from before. But they've never been seen crooning on screen before. Both the songs have been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.
Interestingly neither Priyanka in Dil Dhadakne Do nor Shradha in Rock On 2 play Farhan's conventional leading lady as Priyanka was married to Rahul Bose in the former and Shraddha is not romantically paired with Farhan in the latter. Farhan's character is married to Prachi Desai in Rock On 2.
Says a source from the film, "Farhan and Shraddha have recorded a ballad for Rock On 2. It's a scratch recording. The lyrics are yet to be decided. But it won't be a conventional love ballad."
