USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…It seems that the statement on 'intolerance' made by Aamir Khan a while back has come back to haunt the actor. In fact, we hear that the Indian e-commerce website Snapdeal has decided not to renew Aamir Khan's contract as brand ambassador of the company, once it ends later this month.

Apparently the said contract that was signed a year back was extendable; however Snapdeal isn't keen on renewing the same. Further it is also learnt that after dropping Aamir, Snapdeal may not replace the actor with another celebrity as it looks to rationalize ad expenditure and focus instead on repeat customers, enhancing categories and trying to encourage buyers to shop through its FreeCharge wallet.

With this news, it will be the second time that a brand has dropped Aamir as their ambassador after the government decided to replace Khan for Incredible India with Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra as their brand faces.
