USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Earlier it was reported that Vidya Balan would soon be seen in a Mahesh Bhatt film. Well now we hear that the film in question which is an adaptation of Srijit Mukherji's Bengali film, Rajkahini, will be titled Begum Jaan after the main protagonist, the madam of the brothel. Further we also hear that the central protagonist of the film that was played by Rituparna Sengupta in the original, will be essayed by none other than Vidya Balan.

Set to roll in June, Begum Jaan follows the after effects of the Partition in Bengal in 1947, delving into the lives of 11 women living in a brothel that finds itself divided by the newly-chalked LOC, with half of the house now in India and the other half in Pakistan.

Though more details of the film are unavailable, we hear that the makers will be casting eight other actresses for the film; however Vidya Balan will be ruling all the eight as the madam.
