USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Producer Rakesh Roshan is already looking at a release date for his film Kaabil. To be directed by Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil will be shot and completed in three months at a stretch from April-June.

However, the release will only happen next year. Explains Rakesh Roshan, "All the major release dates this year are already taken. So we've reserved January 26, 2017 as the release date for Kaabil. We are in no hurry release our film."

And no, Kaabil has no patriotic flavour to go with the Republic Day mood. About the unlikely merger of the Roshans with Sanjay Gupta, Rakesh says, "Sanjay Gupta narrated a story written by Vijay Mishra which both Hrithik Roshan and I liked. It is something Hrithik has not done before. It is in the thriller genre. But it's different, and yet mainstream, somewhat like the films that I direct which are massy and yet removed from the expected. And very different from whatever has been attempted so far in genre."

Rakesh will be a hands-on producer. "So you can expect a film that has elements of both Sanjay Gupta's style and my style of filmmaking."

About the film's cast and crew Rakesh Roshan says, "We've Yami Gautam paired with Hrithik. The film also stars Ronit Roy, Sonu Sood and Girish Kulkarni. My brother Rajesh Roshan will do the music, as usual. The cinematography is by Sudeep Chatterjee and the sound design is by Resul Pookutty."

About actor Sudhanshu Pandey's claims that the story has been stolen from him, Rakesh Roshan says, "I don't pay any attention to such things. As far as I am concerned the story came to us from Vijay Mishra. And that is that."
