In fact, he has fast moved on to his next venture Raees. However, now we hear that Shah Rukh Khan might face a bit of legal trouble with his forthcoming release, with a case being filed against him and the makers of Raees in a local court in Ahmedabad.

Apparently the local court issued notices to those involved in the film including Shah Rukh Khan, his wife Gauri Khan, actor Farhan Akhtar, director Rahul Dholakia and producer Ritesh Sidhwani along with three filmmaking companies, following a defamation suit filed by Mushtaq Sheikh, the son of erstwhile underworld don Abdul Latif.

In his Rs. 101 cr. defamation suit Sheikh has sought a stay on the release of the film which stars Shah Rukh Khan, the airing of its promos, trailers, and publication of news articles on the ground that the film projects his father, who had `high reputation' in society, in a negative manner. Further Sheikh claims that the film could bring a bad name to his family since the writer, director, actor and producer of the film did not keep the word given to him, which promised to project Abdul Latif in proper perspective.

As for the film itself Raees, also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who will be making a debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Gauri Khan and Rahul Dholakia, the film is slated to release on July 3.
