Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Earlier we had reported that Salman Khan was in Muzaffarnagar shooting for his next venture Sultan for which the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav had issued a notice to the police force ordering a 1000 member strong unit to ensure smooth proceedings. Later we gave a sneak peek at the happenings on sets of the film.

Well, Salman Khan who has wrapped up shooting for the film in UP took to twitter thanking the UP chief minister and the government saying, "Filmed Sultan in muzaffarnagar,cld not hv happened vit out the support of the C M, people, film development Corp, police n admin. 2 much fun."

The actor who apparently shot for some crucial scenes in and around the Morna area in Muzaffarnagar will be seen playing the role of a wrestler in Sultan. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Anushka Sharma.

Produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films, Sultan is slated to release on Eid in 2016.
