The actor decided to urge the Indian Government for one such major evacuation even in real life during the recent chaotic situation in South Sudan which has claimed hundreds of lives.

Akshay Kumar recently congratulated External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and her team for the success of their Operation Sankat Mochan, where they evacuated over 150 Indians from South Sudan in a speedy process. Taking to social media, Akshay wrote, "Congratulations on the success of Operation #SankatMochan undertaken to evacuate Indians from war-torn South Sudan. Sushma Swaraj General V.K. Singh." A few days ago, the superstar had taken to social media where he urged the Indian Government to help the victims who were stranded in Sudan during the attacks. The actor had then written, "@SushmaSwaraj Ma'am request for speedy measures and actions to evacuate Indians stranded in Sudan. Prayers with them. #SaveIndiansInJuba", to which the Minister had immediately responded saying, "Akshay Kumar ji – Pl do not worry. We are evacuating Indian nationals from Juba."

Last seen in Housefull 3, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for his next release titled Rustom, which is once again loosely based on the real life incidence of the much controversial K M Nanavati case.
