Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After a few setbacks, Half Girlfriend based on Chetan Bhagat's novel by the same name, was finally announced with the fresh pair of Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor leading the cast. Mohit Suri has now decided to give a rather musical twist to the film by introducing three new talents.

While filmmaker Mohit Suri has worked with several Pakistani artists before, three of them will now enter Bollywood with Half Girlfriend. Qurat-ul-Ain Balouch, better known as the singer of the title track of the Fawad Khan-Mahira Khan series 'Humsafar', will be singing a romantic track for this unconventional love story. Besides her, Salman Albert, better known as the band member of Fawad Khan's alternative rock band, Entity Paradigm, has composed the song under the new music label collaboration of EMI Records and Universal Music Group. Adding that this is the first time a new record label is being introduced by a writer-director in Bollywood, Mohit Suri further expressed his desire to release as many songs as possible that stand out.

Some of his popular films in the past like Aashiqui 2 and Ek Villain turned out to be a chartbusters with the entire album becoming a rage. This time around too, Mohit Suri has plans to recreate the magic with Half Girlfriend.
