USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…We all know that Salman Khan was named the goodwill ambassador for Rio Olympics 2016. Our Indian athletes have been trying their best to win a medal for the country but haven't been successful so far. Even though India hasn't received any medal yet, Salman Khan has decided to felicitate our athletes with a grand gesture.

Salman Khan along with the support of the government of India and others has decided to present Indian athletes with a sum of Rs. 1 Lakh each. Sharing a post on his Facebook Page, Salman Khan wrote, "As a gesture of appreciation for our Olympic athletes, I will present each one with a cheque of Rs. 1,01,000. The government is very supportive of sports. Each of us can also do our bit to encourage a sports nation. I admire the work that Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ) is doing to shape tmrw's champions. And also companies like Edelweiss, Jio and others who have come forward to support the Olympics."

While Salman Khan has shown this gesture, Yash Raj Films had also announced earlier last week to present Rs. 10 Lakhs to the athlete who wins gold medal for the country. As PV Sindhu is headed to semi-finals of Badminton, India still is hoping to a grab medal in this Olympic.
