Even though the extremely versatile Riteish Deshmukh may have done films with Tusshar Kapoor, he always wanted to do a film with the latter's legendary father Jeetendra. It seems like Lord Ganesha has answered his prayers.
As a part of the film promotions of Banjo, Riteish Deshmukh 'acted' in the Balaji Telefilm's popular serial 'Kumkum Bhagya'. The moment Riteish Deshmukh saw his idol Jeetendra, the fan boy in him took over and clicked a selfie with Jeetendra. Riteish Deshmukh said that, besides him, this selfie will surely make his mother happy.
Riteish Deshmukh posted the photograph with an apt caption stating "Finally got a chance to share screen space with the Legendary Jeetuji… My mom will be happy. #Banjo #kumkumbhagya".
While Banjo is being directed by Ravi Jadhav, it stars Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri in the lead roles. The film is slated to release on September 23 this year.
