USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…UTV Motion Pictures, Tricolour films and Rajkumar Hirani Films' Saala Khadoos is a story about a boxing coach and an ordinary fisherwoman whom he trains to make a world champion.
Adi (R.Madhavan), who is always at loggerheads with the wily head coach Dev Khatri (Zakir Hussain) gets transferred to Chennai following an unnamed letter of sexual harassment against him. It is here in Madras that Adi finds Madhi (Ritika Singh), a fisherwoman by profession but shows immense potential as a boxer. Madhi, although reluctant initially, agrees to get trained under Adi. A certain incident that has been masterminded by Madhi's own sister Laks (Mumtaz Sorcar) creates a rift between Adi and Madhi, so much so that Adi disowns Madhi as his student.
A turn of events lands Madhi in police custody, only to be bailed out by Adi. Does Madhi live upto the hopes and expectations that Adi had from her, does she bring laurels on the international level, does Dev Khatri succeed in his planning and plotting against Adi is what forms the rest of the film.
