A fashion show and modeling event was held in Nimule, on Saturday to identify the best fashion model to represent the country in upcoming competitions in the region.

NIMULE, 04 February 2016 [Gurtong]-The function which was organised by Nimule classic fusionists in conjunction with the Owori fashion wear of Uganda in Nimule Grand hotel attracted a huge audience and supporters.

In support of the event, many people were also able to buy the designer clothes that were show cased during the event.

According to the managing director of Nimule Fashion wear and events, Mr. Jamil Caesar, the organization of such a function is meant to identify talents among the young talented girls who are capable of competing in the international scene.

“We need to see our young talent here in eastern Equatoria travelling to Nairobi, Kenya for this year’s tusker sponsored design and fashion competition meant for this year May said Caesar.

“We are going to recruit more mentors and couches to train the girls we have so far identified as fit in modeling and in fashion wear. For this year’s best designer and fashions in the region, Ayela Dorren has emerged as the best in fashion design and model,” said the managing Director, Mr. Caeser.

Owori Silvia, a fashion designer, who was also present promised to do more in mentoring the young upcoming talents of Nimule in fashion and design industry.

“We shall put the necessary technocrats and skills needed to uplift the standards of the designers in this region, to make sure that the region is also represented on the international scene.” Said Silvia Owori.

The Indian business community in the region also promised to support the fashion and design project, as it is one of their dreams of uplifting the entire fashion and design sector in South Sudan, according to the Managing Director of Eye Savers, Mr. Jagadish Kasmir.
