Seven Keys To Baldpate: Calcutta Vegetable Cutlets: Yoga Energy Nails and Scalp Rub
Seven Keys To Baldpate
Seven Key’s To Baldpate is a fun stay in a deserted old mansion on a dark and stormy night. We all know that there are Seven Chakras and Seven Principles in my book: Finding Shangri La. In this black and white mystery, there are seven keys held by seven people whose lives intertwine in this mystery caper. The hero of our story is a mystery writer trying to win a bet that he can write a mystery in twenty four hours. He thinks he’s going to be alone so he can concentrate on winning the reward for his efforts but he’s got another thing coming. Six more people will show up to interfere with his goal. The movie is a great metaphor for the distractions that can show up when we try to meditate or adhere to creating a new habit for ourselves.
Bela’s Calcutta Vegetable Cutlets
2 tablespoons milk
½ cup unbleached flour
½ cup yellow corn meal
½ teaspoon ground cayenne
4 large mushrooms, minced
2 green chilies, seeded and minced
4 large fresh spinach leaves, chopped
1 large red onion, thickly sliced
½ cup chopped uncooked eggplant
1 teaspoon salt
Oil for frying, about ½ cup.
1. In a large bowl, mix eggs with milk. Stir in flour and cornmeal. Then add vegetables.
2. Add salt and cayenne.
3. Gradually add water to form a thick batter.
4. Heat oil in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat.
5. Drop the batter into the oil by spoonfuls. Fry a few cutlets at a time until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and serve with your favorite condiment.
Yoga Energy Nails and Scalp Rub
To begin, make sure that your nails are free of any nail polish or artificial nails. Hold your hands together so that your nails meet. Rub your nails together, while you breathe deeply for about 1 full minute. This is an energizing technique and it will also improve the appearance and health of your nails.
Now rub the palms of your hands together until they feel warm. Place your fingers into your scalp, grip onto your hair and gently tug at it to move your scalp backwards and forwards. Now massage your scalp for another full minute and finish with a light tapping treatment, using your fingertips to tap all around your scalp. This helps to increase circulation to the brain and to improve memory.
Finish by massaging each finger all the way from it’s base to the finger tip.
