USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…On Sunday, May 3, 2015, the Sikh Spiritual Centre Khalsa Day Parade will take place.Event organizers are anticipating 80,000 participants. Road closures will be in place for all or part of the day.
Road closures will start at 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at:
-Humberwood Boulevard, from Humberline Drive to Morning Star Drive
-Morning Star Drive, from Humberwood Boulevard to the Mississauga border
Road closures will start at 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at:
-Carrier Drivem from Westmore Drive to Highway 27
– Westmore Drive, from Finch Avenue West to Albion Road
The parade will enter Toronto at approximately 2:45 p.m., from Mississauga at 1:30 p.m. The route will be:
– eastbound along Morning Star Drive
– northbound Humberwood Boulevard
– northbound Humberline Drive
– eastbound Finch Avenue West in the eastbound lanes,
– then northbound Westmore Drive
– westbound Carrier Drive, into the dispersal area of the Sikh Spiritual Centre
Motorists can expect delays in the area.
The TTC will experience delays.
The parade will take place regardless of weather conditions.
