The three day extravaganza of the International Fashion Awards Toronto (IFFT) 2012 ended on Sunday evening, thus, bringing a memorable closure to the touted event held from July 6 – 8.

 International Fashion Awards has been known for its versatile bling in exhibiting fashion and haute couture across several countries in the world. Every year, the displays and exhibitions are always top-notch and the designers gallop-up with their collections to showcase them at the prestigious opportunity.

International Fashion Awards Toronto (IFFT) celebrated its second successive year at Toronto. The event was held at International Center, Mississauga, and was promoted and organized by the Black Diamond Entertainments (BDE) and Absolute Culture. It turned out be extremely successful with the record numbers coming up for the event.

The featuring participants in IFFT 2012 included Middle Eastern, South Asian & Western designers from Dubai, Lebanon, London, North America, India, Pakistan and United States. Also present were the High-Fashion International models, and presentation of Top Designer Workshops, Hair& Make-up Workshops, and Modeling Workshops for all attendees.

The glitz and glamour was the undertone of each day at the event. IFFT 2012 promoted many well-known as well as novel designers, performers and exhibitors from both the local and international fashion industry. Some of the participating top designers were: Vikram Phadnis Walid Attallah, Lajwanti, Cara, Rakesh Agarwal, Chic, Ahmed Bilal, Deepak Perwani. Among the models  were internationally acclaimed names such as: Aanchal Kumar, Piya Trivedi, Cybil Chaudary, Charan Dhillon, Candice Pinto, Neha Ahmed, Sabina Pasha, Alesha Raut and many more.

Vikram Phadnis turned out to be the absolute show-stopper at the event which witnessed the maximum number of audiences pouring in. The collection was much admired for its avant-garde couture and the eye-balls were reflecting the complimentary gleam.

The much-awaited performance by Hamza Faruqui, the renowned Bollywood play-backsinger who has given hits like “Man tu Talabat”, “Ke BinTere Jeena Nahi”, “Maula” in Bollywood was totally sold-out.

The organizer Black Diamond Entertainments (BDE) is extremely proud to have pulled the event with such a phenomenal flair. BDE has added a new feather in its repertoire of promoting and organizing the events, conventions and galas of the international scale. For the IFFT 2012 BDE had been in the promotional-gear from the last several months and left no stone unturned to make the event successful and memorable.

The fashion aficionados were much delighted to witness the audience turn-out at the event. Black Diamond Entertainments was very instrumental in developing, executing and tracking all the updates, feedbacks and developments for the IFFT 2012. Special efforts were made to promote the life-style exhibitions and work-shops apart from the fashion-edge, and the response that was available both at the event and online was stupendous.

The success of the event has made Toronto an all-the-more apt location for the organization of International Fashion Festival. It will be a moment of pride for the Torontonians to see the event happening again in the future.
