Okay, young starlets, take note: In order to ingratiate yourself back into the public’s good graces after a scandal, make sure that when you are going out in the aftermath, your sartorial game is honed-in, grade-A perfect. Which is exactly what Kristen Stewart is doing. From her On The Road looks to her whirlwind talkshow appearances, the young actress looks poised, engaged, and incredibly polished.
On the red carpet for the second installment of Breaking Dawn, Kristen Stewart went for some old-fashioned glamour, with big, smoky eyes, uncharacteristically bright lips, and sleek hair pulled to the side. Yet, what really took our breath away was the lacy, mostly see-through Zuhair Murad floor-length gown — which is a treat, because Stewart usually opts for the gam-bearing mini. The nude color, the fitted bodice, and her red hair just seemed in total harmony. But the real moment came when Kristen turned around…
…and left very little to the imagination. Given the prevalence of see-through or lacy, red-carpet outfits this season, her choice isn’t that surprising (though, one day, celebrities may just walk the carpet completely nude). And in order to keep things PG-rated, Stewart opted for a matching nude bodysuit with boy-cut shorts. However, she certainly got a bit cheeky with it, if you will.
After nearly six months of being in the spotlight with her private life, maybe Stewart is baring it all so there is nothing left for speculation. The nude hue, the bedroom look: She purposely is making herself vulnerable to take the power from us, the vicarious passer-by. Or, maybe she just has a top-notch stylist. Either way, her Breaking Dawn run is going to be stellar, and yes, it is possible to score back our adoration by dressing well.
