Independence Day of any country is the most important day for it. As everyone knows that 14th August 1947 was the day when we Pakistani got a separate homeland to spend our lives with freedom according to our culture and rituals.

The day is very much important for the whole nation that is why it is celebrated with excitement and with enthusiasm. Young, old, great or small; everyone celebrates this day in his own way.

Some people use to wear Independence Day dresses that consist of white shalwar/trousers with green kameez/shirt and paint their faces with Pakistani flags while some illuminate their houses with lights of white and green colors hoisting Pakistani flag on their roof tops.

Women are always known for their chic looks on different occasions. They made every special occasion more special by wearing the outfit of the style that compliments the event and so is in the case of 14th August. Here is women dress style guide for the up coming 14 August.

• Embroidered outfits:

Women tend to attract more towards the embroidered outfits that is why they would love to wear green and white embroidered fabrics on this Independence Day. Green color Long shirts with a little embroidery on sleeves and neck with white jeans or white trousers is perfect wear for 14th August. There are the shirts available in the market that has Pakistani flag on its back or front. This is an old idea but still followed by many every year on Independence Day. The thing that can give it a little trendy touch is the match of accessories with it. You can wear green or white studs with it.

Small earrings of the same color are also best to wear with this type of outfit. Green or white color pumps can also help to make the outfit look stylish on this cultural day. Never think of any thing on this day, just do and wear whatever you want to!

• Green frocks:
