Bridal fashion has never looked so good. Rachel and Madhabilata; Jyotee

Celebrating the beauty and grace of the Indian bride, designer Jyotee Khaitan unveiled a line of bridal finery consisting of lehengas and saris. At a fashion event held at her studio recently, titled Bridal blush, the versatile designer showcased select outfits from her new line.

Draped in a shaded violet, pink and orange lehenga, model Nayanika Chatterjee looked absolutely stunning. Encrusted with emeralds and crystals, the ensemble boasted of sprayed flower motifs of metallic net applique and beaten gold. The antique gold work zardozi border combined to lend a mesmerising and dreamlike luxury in this traditional bridal wear.

The story continued with Jyotee’s unusual patterns and the mystery of georgette and net. The saris worn by models Madhabilata and Rachel were a dream in white, silver, lavender, blue, brown and black. Glittering sequins and beads adorned the saris which were further enhanced with sensuous drapes put together with the designer’s usual flair for eye-catching glamour.
