Review: Bourjois Paris La Laque Gel Collection

 

 

 

Eid Mubarak to each one of you; I hope you had an outstanding week with your loved ones. Unfortunately, I was sick and could not celebrate with my family. I did not mind being in bed as my books agreed to accompany me throughout the ordeal. I am certainly a lucky soul. Furthermore, I'm very tempted to post a review of the Selection series as I'm obsessed with the main leads. Keep an eye out for that.

 

Let's proceed ahead with the review, shall we? I do not invest much in nail products, but I love to experiment with different colours and textures. I am quite fond of bold colours, and I like to apply them more often as compared to others. I was intrigued when I heard that 'Bourjois Paris' came out with another exciting collection. You must be aware of the fact that I endorse 'Bourjois Paris' as it's one of my favourite brands. The collection I am reviewing today is called 'La Laque Gel' and has 12 different colours along with a top coat. The most astonishing fact is that they claim to last for 15 days. I own 5 different shades out of the lot and have proudly exhibited them on the top of my vanity table. You cannot blame me for doing that as they look extremely decorative.

 

I'm not utterly satisfied with the pigmentation and opacity. I had to apply 3 coats to get a decent amount of coverage on my nails. The ones that are dark showed up well, but I struggled with the lighter ones. The formula is creamy and looks good on nails; I cannot stand the ones that are thin in texture. I wore 'cherry d'amour' for a week, and it stayed intact. Hence, these nail enamels are durable. Also, it took me an hour to clean my nails as they're hard to remove.
