Get fresh with cool sorbets!

Feeling the heat? Get fresh with these sorbets.

(Note: If you don’t have a sorbet machine, try the following method to get the desired sorbet texture: Put the mixture you have prepared into the deep freezer. Once it’s frozen, scrape off the upper layer with a fork and replace in the freezer. Repeat the process thrice.)

KIWI SORBET
You need:
Fresh kiwis – 12
Water – 150 ml
Sugar syrup – 60 ml

Method:
1. Switch on your sorbet machine and let cool for 10 minutes.
2. De-skin the kiwis and blend them in a mixer.
3. Add the water and sugar syrup, mix well.
4. Pour the mixture into the chilled sorbet machine and churn till it sets and forms a smooth sorbet.

LEMON & TEQUILA SORBET
You need:
Fresh lemon – 6
Water – 300 ml
Tequila – 90 ml
Sugar syrup – 60 ml
Salt – to garnish the glasses

Method:
1. Switch on your sorbet machine and let cool for 10 minutes.
2. Squeeze the lemons, mix the extract with the water, tequila and sugar syrup.
3. Pour the mixture into the chilled sorbet machine and churn till it sets and forms a smooth sorbet.

WATERMELON & BLACK PEPPER SORBET
You need:
Watermelon – 1
Watermelon syrup – 90 ml
Crushed black pepper – a pinch

Method:
1. Switch on your sorbet machine and let cool for 10 minutes.
2. Peel the watermelon and put it in a juicer.
3. Strain once it’s done, add in the syrup and the black pepper, mix well.
4. The quantity of the syrup can be reduced depending on the sweetness of the fruit.
5. Pour the mixture into the chilled sorbet machine and churn till it sets and forms a smooth sorbet.

WATERMELON BASIL SORBET
You need:
Cantaloupe melon – 1
Cantaloupe melon syrup – 90 ml
Basil – 5 gms

Method:
1. Switch on your sorbet machine and let cool for 10 minutes.
2. Peel the melon and put it in a juicer.
3. Strain. Once it’s done, add in the syrup and the basil, mix it well.
4. The quantity of the syrup can be reduced depending on the sweetness of the fruit.
5. Pour the mixture into the chilled sorbet machine and churn till it sets and forms a smooth sorbet.

GREEN TEA SORBET
You need:
Green tea – 1 tea bag
Honey – 45 ml
Water – 150 ml

Method:
1. Switch on your sorbet machine and let cool for 10 minutes.
2. Make a green tea extract and add honey to this.
3. Strain once and mix it well.
4. The quantity of the honey can be reduced depending on the sweetness of the fruit.
5. Pour the mixture into the chilled sorbet machine and churn till it sets and forms a smooth sorbet.
