Breakfast in a tall glass! A truly healthy option, easy to make and quick to eat

Ingredients
Banana / Mango – 100 gms
Dried Apricots – 25 gms
Soaked Almonds – 5 nos
Ginger Syrup – 2 tbsp or fresh ginger a small piece
Natural muesli (granola) – 40gms
Wheat germ -1 tsp
Toned milk – 200ml

Method
Using a sharp knife, chop the fruit, dried apricots and almonds into slices or chunks.
Put the apricots and the fruit in a blender or food processor and add the syrup from the ginger jar with the muesli and milk.
Process until smooth, adding more milk if necessary, to make a creamy drink. Serve in tall glasses.

Note : This recipe is balanced in all key nutrients. Fruit to give live vitamins, muesli made from whole grains and rich in complex and carbohydrates, wholesome, dried apricots for instant energy and iron, and soaked almonds to give healthy essential fats. There is wheat germ to provide vitamin E and other antioxidants. Toned milk to give the necessary calcium and B-complex. For children a little honey can be used if needed.
