Hey people!
I hope you all are doing well. The best thing about the world of beauty and fashion is that it keeps growing. I can see tons of skincare products in the market, but some people still believe in old and traditional methods. We apply turmeric mask on the whole body of our brides before their doomsday (Okay, kidding. I meant to say their wedding day :D) Pardon me for being a little sarcastic.
What I am really trying to say is that old traditional methods are pretty safe as compared to the modern ones. I am well aware of the fact that you all must be using the best face-washes, scrubs, and facial masks. But I see no harm in trying something natural and less harmful perhaps? A couple of days ago, I read an article stating that tomatoes are good for skin. I am not really a fan of tomatoes or tomato ketchup. However, I sometimes use the tinned ones to make my pasta sauce. Hence, I wasn’t sure about what I read so I went forward to search the health benefits of tomatoes. And trust me guys, I googled a lot, and here’s what I found:-
  • Tomatoes can be used to treat and reduce acne.
  • Tomato is a natural bleaching agent that lightens tan and skin tone.
  • Eating tomatoes is the best way to avoid sunburn and premature ageing.
  • Tomato masks can be used to reduce the appearance of pores.
There are more than 10 reasons of why you should eat and apply tomatoes on your face. Make sure your spring salads come alive with lots of tomatoes and fruits. Also, try to be a little creative and make your own DIY masks. Natural stuff is 1000 times better than what we get in tubes and bottles. So let’s have a look at 2 of my favorite DIY tomato masks:-

  6. Apply your favorite water-based moisturizer on your face.
