President Trump’s Executive Order 13768, “Enhancing Public Safety in the Interior United States”, has shocked illegal aliens and their supporters because, unlike the Obama administration, the Trump administration will not “exempt classes or categories of removable aliens from potential enforcement.” This means that the vast majority of people unlawfully in the United States are once again subject to deportation.

E.O. 13768 also destroys the myth of the noble, law abiding illegal alien and forces illegal aliens and their supporters to finally acknowledge that people illegally in the United States routinely commit multiple felonies and other serious violations of American law when they enter the country, get jobs, and obtain benefits reserved for citizens and legal residents.

E.O. 13768 prioritizes aliens for removal who:

“Have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense”, for example, entering the United States without passing through an official border crossing is a criminal misdemeanor committed by up to six million people according to the Los Angeles Times;

“Have engaged in fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter or application before a governmental agency”, for example, illegal aliens falsely representing that they are legally authorized to work in the United States under penalty of perjury when they put their fraudulently obtained Social Security numbers on I-9 forms and then sign the forms, accounting for up to eight million job holders according to the Los Angeles Times, or 72 percent of the 11 million illegal aliens estimated to be in the United States; or

“Have abused any program related to receipt of public benefits”, such as receiving an improper welfare benefit or receiving federal food assistance — an unknown number.

The advocates for illegal aliens apparently never thought that the federal government would hold illegal aliens accountable for their crimes, otherwise why would they have highlighted their criminal activities in an attempt to show that they are law abiding citizens? For example, those supporting illegal aliens have insisted for years that they obey the tax laws, as demonstrated by the fact that they pay Social Security (payroll taxes) on income they have unlawfully earned. Of course, the only way the vast majority of illegal aliens can pay payroll taxes is by using fraudulently obtained Social Security numbers, and in many cases, the stolen identities of American citizens. These actions are felonies.

According to the ACLU, a leading advocate for and defender of illegal aliens, “In the Chicago metro area for example, approximately seventy percent of undocumented workers paid payroll taxes.” This is a devastating admission of criminal activity since illegal aliens have to commit serious felonies (Social Security fraud, forgery, perjury, identity theft) in order to get jobs and to pay payroll taxes.

In fact, the felonies committed by illegal aliens who use fraudulently obtained Social Security numbers are so serious that the Obama administration was forced to tell the “Dreamers” applying for legal status under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program not to list their illegally obtained Social Security numbers on their DACA applications.

So, until President Trump issued E.O. 13768, the career politicians that he replaced had consistently put illegal aliens first and deliberately ignored the terrible harm done to the American men, women, and children whose Social Security numbers are stolen.

Rather than protecting Americans, career politicians and their business, media, and faith-based allies stood by as the medical records of innocent children were corrupted by illegal aliens using their Social Security numbers, with life-threatening consequences. They did nothing as their constituents’ and neighbors’ credit records were destroyed by illegal aliens and as the arrest records of illegal aliens were attached to the stolen Social Security numbers of hard-working Americans.

The career politicians allowed the IRS to go after Americans for unpaid taxes on income earned on their Social Security numbers by illegal aliens and, along with their allies, stood by when means-tested benefits were denied to families because they had been credited with the income earned by illegal aliens using their Social Security numbers.

President Trump’s E.O. 13768 finally puts Americans first and instructs federal agencies to hold illegal aliens accountable for their crimes rather than rewarding them for destroying the lives of American men, women, and children. It also forces advocates to grapple with the inconvenient truth that virtually all illegal aliens have committed and continue to commit serious crimes, as well as with the fact that they have provided the proof that illegal aliens are committing these serious felonies. Elections truly have consequences.
