Without hesitation, Gracie took a deep breath, quieted herself, and unhesitantly stepped onto the very center of her Model X17 pink Yoga mat. Ganesha then instructed her to place both of her palms together at the center of her chest. “Always begin every Yoga pose by starting with your hands in this position. The heart has it’s own special and unique energy that is connected to the very core of the Field. By placing your hands there first, you are able to open the communication between yourself and the quantum field of energy that surrounds us all”, Ganesha explained. Gracie placed her hands as instructed. “Now, Gracie, place your feet about eight inches apart or space them to where you feel stable. This is known as the ‘point of origin’ stance that forms the beginning of all standing movement in Yoga practice. It is known as Tadasana, The Standing Mountain. It teaches us how to be still and stable and it opens the energy in the spine. It may not seem like much, but later, you will appreciate its importance. Most people never practice this pose and so, loose access to the gateway of all the other poses.
