Acharya Sri Khadi MadamaEpisode – 20

She needed pink glitter to activate her holographic phone. She needed, for the first time to push the question mark button. The one that looked, sort of, like Ganesha’s trunk. Where would she find pink glitter and with only minutes to spare? Then she remembered. Gracie remembered the pink glitter question mark that has been in her hair since her first encounter with Yoga*Land. The glitter that won’t wash out no matter how hard she scrubs her hair or what shampoo she uses. Quickly, Gracie raced up to reach the port side of Titanic. The side that she had read about so many times that had caught the side of the iceberg. She ran as fast as she could in her white lace up Victorian leather books, out into the cold dark night. She could feel the chill in the air and her heart pounding in her chest. Somehow she must get to the port side of the ship and hope that she could do the right thing to save Titanic. Frantically, she ran until she reached the railing on the port side of the ship. She could not yet see anything ahead. It was black as pitch. She lifted her left hand up to just the right height and held out her palm. Carefully, she let down her hair, which was in a Victorian upswing. Particles of pink glitter began to fall onto her hand and like magic, the holographic Yoga Phone appeared. Gracie pushed the question mark button. She had never used this before and didn’t know what to expect, where to look for whatever was going to happen or anything else. Then she remembered Tadasana. She centered herself, aligned her body, took a deep breath and concentrated. Out in the depths of the water she heard a loud jolly laugh. It was Matsyasa! Bobbing around in the water. “I don’t know what to do”, Gracie cried in despair. She knew that only moments remained if she was going to save Titanic. “Keep concentrating and visualizing on what you want to happen. You are on the right track”, Matsyasa called to her from the sea. Gracie took another deep breath, and visualized. A thought came into her head, and she began to shake the pink glitter from her hair out into the sea. In her minds eye, she saw Titanic safe and all the people safely enjoying themselves free of any danger. Gracie then felt it. She had failed. She could feel Titanic’s engines go into reverse but to no avail. She fainted.

However, when she came to laying in a lounge chair, on the port side of the deck, it was because people were all dancing and laughing and celebrating. She could not think of what the commotion was and tried to grasp the situation. Bringing her eyes into focus, she could see that everyone was jumping for joy eating bowls of pink bubble gum flavored sherbet. For Titanic had impacted onto a huge soft mountain, not of ice, but of the deliciously flavored favorite dessert of Gracie’s. That is what she had visualized in her mind, Titanic landing safely into a huge mound of her favorite dessert. And, of course bubble gum had not yet been invented so it was a completely new flavor sensation for all of the delighted passengers, who were not only completely safe, but delighting in the extraordinary phenomena. Gracie made sure that she had a bowl of it too. How could she resist? After all, this is Yoga*Land, where everything is pink AND perfect!
