England and New Zealand will face each other in the 2nd ODI of the three match series at McLean Park in Napier.

The hosts are currently leading the series with 1-0 after their three-wicket victory at Hamilton in the opening ODI and are also looking to wrap up the series with another consecutive victory in the second game. Kiwi’s two key players Mitchell McClenaghan and Martin Guptill are injured. Tim Southee and will replace them in this game. The likely New Zealand squad will include: 1 Hamish Rutherford, 2 BJ Watling, 3 Kane Williamson, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Brendon McCullum (capt & wk), 6 Grant Elliott, 7 James Franklin, 8 Nathan McCullum, 9 Kyle Mills, 10 Trent Boult, 11 Tim Southee.

On the other hand, England would be aiming for a sure win before entering the match to level the series with only the final match decider for the series. Alastair Cook, Ian Bell, Jonathan Trott, James Anderson and Graeme Swann need to perform well to lead their side towards victory. Especially, Trott’s inclusion at No 3 is questionable who has a career strike rate of 74. Instead quickfire Jos Buttler should be tried at third spot and Jonny Bairstow at No 6. The probable English squad will include: 1 Alastair Cook (capt), 2 Ian Bell, 3 Jonathan Trott, 4 Joe Root, 5 Eoin Morgan, 6 Jos Buttler (wk), 7 Chris Woakes, 8 Stuart Broad, 9 Graeme Swann, 10 James Anderson, 11 Steven Finn.
