You are a tad apprehensive around what the soundtrack of Beiimaan Love would have to offer. After all the first song to be released, and that too many weeks ago, was 'Hug Me' and it didn't quite give an impression of a well-rounded score. However, as a few other tracks started getting unveiled, one got an impression of something better in the offering from this album that has multiple composers and lyricists.

MUSIC

There is a huge surprise in score right at the start of the album, what with Asees Kaur's striking vocals making one listen to 'Rang Reza' quite attentively. This one has to be clearly one of the best songs ever to have been created for Sunny Leone, what with an out and out classy treatment meted to it by composer Asad Khan and lyricist Raqueeb Alam. A fusion mix track that brings on Indian classical, sufi and rock, 'Rang Reza' is a very good composition that deserves to have been the first song to be promoted for the film. Later, there is a male version which appears too with Yasser Desai and that is quite good too.

Yasser Desai is heard again, this time for 'Main Adhoora', and he does pretty well in this pop track which lends a pleasant surprise too. In fact the manner in which the song begins changes the entire perception around the album since Sanjeev-Darshan come up with a melodic tune that totally compliment the lyrics put together by Sameer Anjaan. There is a right mix of class, melody and sensuality in 'Main Adhoora' which has Aakanksha Sharma as Yasser's singing partner. Both render this one as experienced singers and one is prompted to play it on a repeat mode.

As you move ahead in the album, realization strikes in that the makers have actually roped in a good team of composers and lyricists for Beiimaan Love. That is evidenced with 'Pyaar De' which has Ankit Tiwari as the composer-singer with Abhyendra Kumar Upadhyay bringing on the vocals. Yet another sensual love song which lends good continuation to the mood set by 'Main Adhoora', it has a soft-n-silky feel to it.

After three back to back romantic numbers, it is time to cater to quintessential Sunny Leone fans. This happens with four back to back item numbers. First to arrive is Raghav Sachar composed 'Hug Me' which is written by Kumaar. A safe dance number with a Punjabi base to it, this one has Kanika Kapoor leading the show yet again for Sunny Leone with Raghav Sachar also chipping in as a singer. Though the tune is harmless, the fact remains that there is a definite sense of deja vu that sets in when this song plays.

The song that does sound different from other Sunny Leone item numbers is 'Mar Gaye', and that is courtesy Manj Musik who returns with his team with Nindy Kaur as his singing partner. Rest is taken care by Raftaar who chips in as a lyricist and rapper, hence lending a unique touch to this 'Sunny number'. A catchy foot tapping song which also has been picturised quite well; it also appears in a Punjabi version and works all over again. Yet another number that deserves to be promoted quite aggressively, what with a good pace, tuning and turns right through its duration.

Last to arrive is Amjad-Nadeem composed 'Mere Peeche Hindustan' which belongs to the 'passable quick-fix' variety. Written by Sameer Anjaan, this sounds like one of those half a dozen tracks that Sunny Leone has featured in films like Ek Paheli… Leela, Kuck Kuch Locha Hai, One Night Stand and many more. Not that this Yasser Desai and Sukriti Kakar song is a bad hear. However, it doesn't have enough ammunition to cover a larger distance and could be restricted to the play of the film.

OVERALL

The music of Beiimaan Love is the surprise of the season. Though one didn't carry many expectations from it, overall the sound of Beiimaan Love is compartmentalized into being melodious and rhythmic. None of the songs from the film disappoint and there are actually three to four songs that have it in them to enjoy a much longer shelf life.
