On Saturday, April 2, 2011, Justin celebrated his mother’s birthday on stage in Berlin, Germany, but with some unusual pyrotechnics.
At the end of the concert at Berlin’s O2 World arena, the 17-year old pop star surprised Pattie Mallette with a birthday cake. She leaned over the cake and proceeded to blow out the candles, however between puffs a few strands of her hair caught on fire. Bieber is seen reaching up to quickly put out the flames.
Bieber later tweeted about the incident
