Web Sheriff is back deleting Bob Dylan videos from YouTube

On July 19, 2013 Web Sheriff announced it was suing YouTube, eBay The Pirate Bay. This announcement appeared briefly on the internet but was removed. Only the cached version remains.

“Jul 19, 2013 – Web Sheriff announced it would launch lawsuits against YouTube, eBay and The Pirate … Bob Dylan used the company’s services pro bono to protect his charity …”

Almost immediately YouTube has been deleting Dylan videos posted by fans. I have been getting email notices for days. At first I thought it was an aberration but apparently the folks at Web Sheriff are serious.

Some notices say the user accounts are being deleted. Nasty.

This recent video of Bob Dylan singing “The Weight” with Jeff Tweedy and Jim James during the Americanarama in Virginia Beach has survived the purge.

  1. 😕 Bob Dylan is the One who is not allowing His vcomment_IDeos to b seen, /watched. Oye! Not the Times. He should not b doing this. I love His music but He seems to b acting paranocomment_ID and pompous. Glad He can afford to b this way. I”m starting to NOT like him bcause of this . Other Musicians/Poets who r famous have their vcomment_IDeos up. He’s not that special. He Was to me until now. Hey Bobby, we only Live once. xo Jilian

  2. Who is this web sheriff. Let him know if I run into him on the street I’m gonna shove my foot up his arse! Don’t people have anything better to do?

  3. When I read this I immediately went to my youtube account, but could not detect any Bob Dylan vcomment_IDeos having been removed…
But to my chagrin I found that a playlist from the dutch television archives of a show they broadcast
in 1965 has been removedby the user…now I wonder who that is…Dutch Television or the
    Nina Simone estate?
The show was a live performance in the Mickery theater…
