The Complete Album Collection V.1 [Box set] ships today from, Sony Music and just about every record outlet, including iTunes.

On the $180 set popped out at #2 in Classic Rock. That’s awesome chart position for Dylan’s second box set in 3 months. 

Amazon. com pulled off a big price discount last week, dropping the price to $180 from $247. I have to admit, despite owning all the music already, I ordered it.

14 of the CD’s are remastered and it’s a collectible box set.

Beginning with tracks recorded for his eponymous 1962 Columbia Records debut album, the Bob Dylan Complete Album Collection Vol. One follows Dylan’s restless transformations across six decades as a singer, a songwriter, a concert performer and a studio artist who’s continually finding fresh ways of expressing and exploring the varieties of human experience, worldly and other, with music.
