The move followed the dissolution of the previous government by the State Governor Louis Lobong Lojore a fortnight ago.

In the new appointments however, most of the public officials were rea-appoitned with five new cabinet ministers and two County Commissioners getting appointed.

Immediate former deputy Governor Nartisio Loluke Manir retains his position.

The following is the complete list of the new appointments: 
1) Abdallah Kapelo Lomongin [from Kapoeta South County] – Advisor to the Governor on Political Affairs
2) Clement Laku Chichim [from Torit County]–  Ministry of Cabinet and Parliamentary Affairs
3) Hon. Claudio  Suleiman Liling [from Ikwoto County] –  Ministry of Public Administration and Internal Affairs
4) Sam Felix Makuja [from Budi County]– Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning
5) Josephine Akulang Abalang [from Ikwoto County]– Ministry of Labour, Public Service and Human Resource Development
6) Dr. Margret Itto [from Magwi County] – Ministry of Health
7) Felix Otuduha Siro [from Torit County]– Ministry of Information and Telecommunications
8) Mark Akio Ukinbul [from Lafon/Lopa County] – Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Irrigation, Cooperatives and Community Development
9) Charles Lokonoi Ambrose [from Kapoeta North County]– Ministry of Transport and Roads
10) Michael Lopuke Lotyam [from Kapoeta South County]– Ministry of Education
11) Jerome Gama Surur [from Magwi County] – Ministry of Commerce, Investment, Industry and Mining
12) Geoge Echom Ekeno [from Kapoeta East County] – Ministry of Environment, Wildlife Conservation and Tourism
13) Banaiah Benjamin Kitara [from Magwi county] – Ministry of Housing and Public Utilities
14) Patrick Lodinga Kotein[from Kapoeta East County]  –  Ministry of Culture, Social Development, Youth and Sports
15) Hassan Alex Urbano[from Lafon/Lopa County] – Ministry of Animal Resources and Fisheries

Lafon/Lopa County remains without a Commissioner as consultations continue.
