He said the current economic challenges need much commitment of the civil society in waking up the citizens and the government on how best they can be approached.
“It is the time to correct ourselves before you correct the government,” said Deng.
He challenged the role of the civil society saying it needs to be proactive.
“It is time to let our people know that we are in a different environment and it is the time to work together and it is the time to listen to each other and it is the time for all civil societies to unite,” he said.
