Pupils from Young Angels in Western Equatoria State have requested their teacher who has resigned to resume duty.

The pupils who stormed the residential area want the teacher who was described as very good to resume work at the school.

The school director however said that the teacher was not dismissed but was just being advised as he was fond of requesting money from the pupils a behaviour that the parents had complained to the school.

The teacher was conducting tuition for the students in the morning but was advised to conduct the tuition classes in the evening after the classes and during the weekends.

The teacher is alleged to have refused to follow the instructions and decided to stay at home without teaching.

However, the teacher said he resigned because the school administration had failed to agree on his request adding that he has never forced any pupil to pay for the extra tuition.

He said that he has not been paid for some time and he was being overworked at the school.

The school administration denied the allegations made by the teacher saying that he has been paid all his dues.

The Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of the school plan to recall the teacher and has the issues resolved.
