Dhieu said the team will be headed by the Sudanese Minister of oil Awad Ahmed Al-Jaz. However, there is no date still fixed. He briefed the journalists yesterday shortly after the Friday’s cabinet meeting.

Juba had confirmed on Wednesday that Khartoum has notified its authorities that it will shutdown its oil flow on 7th next month.

Last month Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Bashir issued an order warning to shut down the South Sudan oil flow through its country in sixty days on grounds that Juba supports rebels in Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan fighting his government.

Juba repeatedly denied the allegations.

Dhieu exclusively revealed that, government and the oil companies in the South are currently working to reduce its oil pump to Khartoum in a bid not to affect its oil facilities.

South Sudanese government Deputy Minister of Information and Broadcasting yesterday Atem Yak maintained that, Juba is still committed to diplomatic ties with Khartoum in sorting out any differences as enshrined in the Cooperation Agreement.
