Following South Sudan hard economic experience following the shutdown of the oil production last year, the donation “aims to protect and ensure continuation of social services to the population.”

The funds according to the EU Ambassador Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff, Head of the EU Delegation to South Sudan, will be mainly used in the area of salary sustainability of staffs in the sector of education and health.

This is in an effort to sustain delivery of basic services to the population.
