Ambassador Schwake who held a meeting with the Torit County Commissioner, German Charles Ojok on Monday said that he hopes the SPLM warring parties will commit themselves to the peace process by redoubling their efforts under the auspices of the IGAD mediation process. 

Schwake reiterated that development projects will only be supported by the German government if there is stability and peace in the country. 

The Torit County Commissioner, German Charles Ojok highly welcomed the Ambassador and assured him of his government’s efforts to maintain security in the country. 

“I am extremely pleased to have you here in my office today. I received your request to pay a courtesy call to me. I assure your Embassy continued engagements and cooperation. I shall always be ready to work with you and offer any support including land space for your government investments through NGOs. Feel free, and at home.”  

The Ambassador promised Commissioner Ojok humanitarian assistance from the republic of Germany to the state government especially Torit county.
