USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…A Kenyan delegation last week visited Jonglei State during the last countdown to next month’s referendum.

The team that was led by the Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs Richard Onyonka included seven Kenyan parliamentarians.

They were received by the South Sudan Youth Forum for Referendum chairman Benjamin Bol Mel and the Deputy State Governor Hussein Mar Nyuot.

The Kenyan delegation pledged to respect and abide by the decision taken by South Sudanese during the referendum vote.

“I want to inform you that the Kenyan Government is ready to support any decision taken by you under all circumstances. We expect to come here again to celebrate the independence of your own country”, Onyonka told the enthusiastic audience at Bor Freedom Square.

He added that the East African Community would remain on standby receive South Sudan’s membership.

Speaker after speaker reiterated the freedom message as Southerners head to the polls in a few weeks.

Deputy Governor Nyout expressed gratitude with Kenya’s support to South Sudan prior to, during and after the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.

“I call upon the state residents to prepare for a huge turnout in order to achieve the long – awaited freedom whose fight has claimed several lives”, he said.
