The Managing Director of Wau Airport in Western Bahr el Ghazal State, Daniel Nhial has said daily flights to Wau will soon resume within the next week.

WAU, July 16, 2015 [Gurtong] – Flight’s landing at Wau Airport were scheduled on weekly basis after the administration of the Airport announced in May this year the renovation of the airport’s runway.
“The delay is from the private company taking care of the works due to additional construction of a one square kilometer,” he said.
Wau airport has been undergoing a rehabilitation and a runway upgrade which is meant to hold a capacity of 100 planes.
