Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 11045 Fuqua about 4:35 a.m. on Feb. 13.The suspects, Jorge Alaniz (H/m, DOB: 12-10-82) and Alex Christopher Donez (H/m, DOB: 2-17-86) are charged with murder in the 177th State District Court. Both are accused in the killing of David Davila, 27, of Houston. Mr. Davila suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. Photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. E. Roberts and Senior Police Officer K.P. Carr reported:
Mr. Davila was inside Joe’s Texas Club, an after hours club at the above location, when he and two male suspects began arguing. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, which then moved to the sidewalk outside. During the fight, one of the suspects produced a pistol and fired one time, fatally striking Davila.

I am Davcomment_ID’s aunt and would like to thank you for the follow up story. Davcomment_ID was a son a father a nephew a grandson he left behind a 18 month old at the time of his death.He has 4 children and a wife: we all love and miss Davcomment_ID,he was a man who had a heart of gold. I will not portray Davcomment_ID, to be a saint but he always showed lots of heart.
On September 23rd is one of his little girls birthdays. For her birthday she wished to see her father. Though we can not produce her wish I would like to ask that her picture with her father be put in the paper. I can be reached at the above e-mail.

We come into another year of a loss that a little girl does not quite understand (all she knows is that she cannot see her father for her birthday again)
In light of my nieces birthday I would like to see, whatever happened to the monsters that took his life from him. Would you please check into whether or not they are doing time? We all know that sometimes it is best to step away from certain circumstances. Although I cannot be a voice in the flesh I can be a voice in the distance. So long as there is injustice the people with hearts will not rest. Every life counts and my nephew will always have a place in our hearts and minds.
I wait for justice in heaven if I cannot have it here on earth.
