Houston police are investigating the death of an infant at 11411 Chariot Drive about 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday (June 9).

The male victim, DaLeon Williams, two months, suffered internal injuries and was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer J. Johnston and Officer J. Harvey reported:

Baby Williams was at home with his mother and other family members when he was found not breathing in his crib. A subsequent autopsy revealed internal injuries not consistent with a natural death.

The investigation is continuing.
