Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4660 Telephone Road about 3:50 a.m. today.

The victim, Sergio Luis Lima, 30, of Pasadena, suffered a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J.M. De La Cruz and Senior Police Officer X.E. Avila reported:

Houston patrol officers responded to a reported shooting in-progress call and found Mr. Lima deceased in the parking lot.

The investigation revealed that four Hispanic males were involved in an argument with other patrons inside the bar. Security personnel removed the four males, who then left the scene. A short time later, a vehicle matching that of the suspects’ returned. One or more suspects in the car then fired shots in the direction of the bar, fatally striking Lima.

The suspects are described only as four Hispanic males in their early 20s. The suspects’ vehicle is believed to be a white Chrysler 300 with paper tags H118258.
