Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 12261 Fondren about 8:20 p.m. on Thursday (Oct. 24).
The victim, Brandon Dorsey, 26, of Houston, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Meeler and Senior Police Officer J. Villareal reported:
According to witnesses, a large crowd of people gathered in the parking lot of the Casa Miranda Apartments at the above address. At some point, shots were fired and Mr. Dorsey was fatally struck. The crowd dispersed prior to the arrival of HPD patrol officers.
